All travelers to Indonesia must be in possession of a Passport that is valid for at least six (6) months from the date of arrival, and have proof (tickets) of onward or return passage.

 Indonesia provides special Short Stay Visa Free facilities for tourists who are nationals of a total 169 countries who wish to travel to Indonesia. Please visit http://www.indonesia.travel/gb/en/before-you-go/visa-immigration, to check if your national is in the list.

Tourist Visa Free Facilities are valid for 30 days, are non-extendable and cannot be transferred into any other type of of stay permit.

The visa exemption facility can be used for tourism, family visit, social visit, art and cultural, government duty, to deliver a speech or attend a seminar, international exhibition, meetings with head office or representative office in Indonesia, or transit.

Nationals from “Visa-free” countries can enter visa-free for a maximum of 30 days.

Citizens from all other countries, upon arrival at Indonesian International airports, could apply for a Visa-On-Arrival (VOA) of 30 days. The cost is US$35. You are required to provide items below for the VOA application:

1. Passport – which has to be valid at least 6 months from planned entrance
2. Return ticket is compulsory
3. Visa fee (preferably in cash)

Visas can be extended for another 30 days with additional cost, please note that the extension application should be done before the expiry date of your visa. Visitors with expired visa will be charged US$20/day that counted from the expiry date until the date the extension takes effect.

2. We strongly advise you to pay with exact amount, as the airport officers are unlikely provide small denominations for a change or unable to give exchange due to long lines

An airport tax of Rp150,000 isle vied by airports on departing passengers on international flights and Rp. 40,000 for those on domestic routes. Most airlines today incorporate airport tax into their total tickets cost on purchase. Do make sure that this is already included.

Accommodation

There are numbers of hotels near the conference venue. Below is our recommendation:

Due to seasonal changes, exact hotel rate can be checked directly from the hotel website or online travel booking sites.

The most convenient way to reach the venue from Soekarno Hatta International Airport is by taxi. The rate may vary from Rp 100,000 to Rp 300,000.

From Terminal 1, 2, and Terminal 3 Ultimate of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Blue Bird Taxi and other taxi pools can be accessed from the ground floor of the Arrival area. Simply follow the sign to the taxi pools. For Terminal 3, pick a taxi call number from the nearby locket and wait for your number to be called.

B. Mass public transportations (rails and buses)

B.1. Busses

Estimated travel time: 45 minutes – 1 hour
Estimated walking distance: 1 km (about 17 minutes)

From Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, this travel alternative will involve DAMRI buses to reach the venue. The fare of this method is estimated to be Rp 40.000 for a one-way trip.

1. From Terminal 1, 2, and Terminal 3 Ultimate of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, DAMRI bus pools can be accessed from the airport’s Arrival area. Simply follow the signs to the bus’s waiting room.
2. Purchase a one-way bus ride from Soekarno-Hatta airport to Stasiun Gambir Jakarta Pusat at the DAMRI ticket counter (for other routes and complete timetables, please refer to http://bandarasoekarnohatta.com/rute-dan-jadwal-keberangkatan-damri-dari-dan-ke-bandara-soekarno-hatta.info). The ticket fare for this trip is estimated to be Rp 40.000.
3. Upon your arrival at Stasiun Gambir, walk on the pedestrian sidewalk for about 1 km (approximately 17 minutes) to the National Library of Republic Indonesia. The following is a walking route alternative; please take care upon crossing the streets.
   
   

B.2. Airport rails, commuter trains, and buses via Batu Ceper Station

Estimated travel time: 1 hour 38 minutes or 1 hour 44 minutes
Estimated walking distance: 450 m (about 8 minutes) or 950 m (about 17 minutes)

From Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, this travel alternative will involve the rails (KRL Airport Railink Services), trains (KRL Commuter), and buses (Transjakarta) to reach the venue. The fare of this method is estimated to be Rp 41.500.

1. Upon your arrival at the airport, you can buy your train ticket from the automated ticket machine at Bandara Soekarno-Hatta Station (BST) rail station, which can be reached from Terminal 1, 2, and 3 using the airport’s Skytrain service. Please be aware that transaction can only be done using credit, debit, or some e-money cards (for list of viable credit, debit, or e-money cards, refer to https://www.railink.co.id/cara-beli-bayar).
2. Buy your train ticket to Batu Ceper Station (BPR) (for detailed schedule timetable refer to https://www.railink.co.id/jadwal-kereta) and after completing the transaction, board the train heading for Stasiun Sudirman Baru.
3. Upon disembarking at Batu Ceper Station, transfer to KRL Commuter heading for Tangerang-Duri and disembark at Taman Kota Train Station. Single-trip tickets can be purchased on the automated ticket machines or ticketing booths. Your security deposit for single-trip tickets can be refunded upon your arrival at Taman Kota Train Station.
4. Tap your purchased ticket card at the train station’s automated gate system and head for the Tangerang-Duri platform to board your train.
5. Upon disembarking at Stasiun Taman Kota, you can refund your ticket’s security deposit through the automated ticket machines or ticketing booths.
6. Transfer to Taman Kota Transjakarta station by walking through the pedestrian sidewalk for about 150 m (About 3 minutes).
7. Transjakarta station’s automated gate system only accepts e-money, which can be purchased in the ticketing counter. After passing the automated gate, please wait at the corridor heading for Pulogadung 1 to board the 2B Pulogadung 1 Transjakarta bus. You can also board the 3A Bundaran Senayan bus from the Bundaran Senayan corridor.
8. If you ride the 2B Pulogadung 1 bus, disembark at Balai Kota station and walk for 300 m (about 5 minutes) to the National Library of Republic Indonesia.
   
9. If you ride the 3A Bundaran Senayan bus, disembark at Bank Indonesia station and walk for 800 m (about 10 minutes) to the National Library of Republic Indonesia.
   

B.3. Airport rails and buses via Sudirman Station Baru

Estimated travel time: 1 hour 50 minutes
Estimated walking distance: 1 km (about 17 minutes)

From Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, this travel alternative will involve both rail (KRL Airport Railink Services) and buses (Transjakarta) to reach the venue. The fare of this method is estimated to be Rp 73.500.

1. Upon your arrival at the airport, you can buy your train ticket from the automated ticket machine at Bandara Soekarno-Hatta Station (BST) rail station, which can be reached from Terminal 1, 2, and 3 using the airport’s Skytrain service. Please be aware that transaction can only be done using credit, debit, or some e-money cards (for list of viable credit, debit, or e-money cards, refer to https://www.railink.co.id/cara-beli-bayar).
2. Buy your train ticket to Sudirman Station (for detailed schedule timetable refer to https://www.railink.co.id/jadwal-kereta) and after completing the transaction, board the train heading for Stasiun Sudirman Baru.
3. Upon disembarking at Sudirman Station, transfer to Dukuh Atas 2 Transjakarta station by walking through the pedestrian sidewalk for about 200 m (about 5 minutes). The bus station’s automated gate system only accepts e-money, which can be purchased in the ticketing counter.
4. After passing the automated gate, wait at the corridor heading for Monas and board the 6A Monas Transjakarta bus.
5. Disembark at Bank Indonesia station and walk for 800 m (about 10 minutes) to the National Library of Republic Indonesia.
